This class will be a continuation of information covered in Intro. To Watercolor. A quick review of techniques to control water and pigment along with some more advanced tips will be demonstrated. Color and composition will be discussed. Students will work from their own photos of landscapes or florals. Attention will be given to composition and focal point. Time for sharing work and critique will be at the end.

This is a class to develop skills with soft pastels where students will work from photos and learn measuring techniques and how to begin with a simple subject and design on Mi Teintes colored papers. In this technique it is better to have a paper larger than anticipated to be the finished size so you don’t run off the sheet. There will be a variety of full sheets available for students.
